So this is the start of a new endeavour for me.  With all the buzz around recently in regards to the iPhone and Rogers outrageous pricing,  I've decided to not only give up the dream of owning an iPhone, but I want a mobile phone without a dataplan at all. What I want is this:

• pay as you go or low cost monthly mobile phone
• built in wifi
• skype (or other Voip service)
• all calls will go to Voip number/service when available
• all calls will be forwarded to the Cell phone number/plan when wifi is unavailable
• this should all happen on one device
• ability to "set" to either wifi/voip or cell/mobile depending on conditions (reception, quality of wifi, etc...)
• NO DATAPLAN!!!

Is this easy to do? I hope so.Step one: Get to know skype.  Stay tuned!!!
