First attempt...Try to boil water.

I've seen "solar ovens" and other solar cooking devices and the idea is fairly simple: focus as much sunlight on as much surface area of a black coloured device(the oven) and contain the heat in that device.
As a first attempt I thought I would try to boil water. I decided to use a stove top espresso maker, not only because it was the only black metal device I had lying around, but also because it would be obvious if I was successful: the water would be in the top if it had boiled.
I grabbed the espresso maker and set it up (sans coffee).
